In the creation of my painting "Etna Sunset," I embarked on a journey guided by the vibrant hues of a Sicilian evening sky and the enduring silhouette of Mount Etna. Inspired by the beauty of my Italian citizenship adventure, I began my process by layering the canvas with the rich, warm tones of the setting sun, gradually transitioning into the deeper shades of twilight.
Against the backdrop of luminous colors, the majestic silhouette of Mount Etna emerged, its towering presence a symbol of strength and resilience. In the foreground, shadowed trees stood in stark contrast against the fading light, their barren branches reaching skyward in a dance of winter stillness.
