Winter Hut

Winter Hut was inspired by a deeply transformative journey I took alone through Norway, shortly after turning 35. It was the first solo trip I had taken in years, and also the realization of a dream that only became possible through my art — after selling two paintings, I finally earned enough to visit a country I had long dreamed of experiencing.

This trip became a personal rite of passage. After living through an intense and chaotic relationship, filled with both affection and emotional turbulence, Norway represented a moment of reconnection with myself. Winter Hut carries the feeling of solitude, resilience, stillness and inner strength that emerged during those days. It marks the moment I truly chose to trust my own path, my independence, and to fully embrace art as part of my life journey.
