CanvasSound — “She Echoes” (2024)

In March 2024, I was invited to take part in CanvasSound, an intimate multidisciplinary event held in Dublin in celebration of International Women’s Month. The concept brought together two musicians and one visual artist, creating a shared space where sound and visual expression could unfold in dialogue.

For this edition, titled “She Echoes,” I presented a live painting performance alongside musicians Kathy Long and Reylta. The evening was designed as an immersive and personal experience, with a limited audience, allowing for a deeper connection between artists and viewers.

During the event, I created a piece titled Sacred Flow, exploring themes of the feminine body, cycles, and transformation. The work incorporated menstrual blood as a material — an intentional choice to challenge taboos and reconnect the body with its natural processes, bringing a raw and honest dimension to the piece.

The artwork was later acquired shortly after the event, reflecting the resonance created through this live and embodied process.

This experience marked an important moment in my artistic path, where sound, presence, and matter converged, expanding my exploration of intuitive and process-based creation.
